1. Standard weddings
Most weddings are held in the church's sanctuary. Its long center aisle, surrounded by stained-glass windows, makes every bride's processional a beautiful occasion. Our organ, installed in 1992, a wedding consultant, and seating up to 400, all combine to make the Community Church a grand place for weddings.
Standard sanctuary wedding with rehearsal: $1,150
Wedding parties over 20: $1,350
Sanctuary wedding without rehearsal: $950
2. Chapel weddings
Our historic chapel is also available for smaller wedding ceremonies. Built in 1926 as Miami Shores' original water and fire department, and featuring a stained-glass window of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemane, it's an ideal place for more intimate occasions.
Chapel wedding with rehearsal $750
Chapel wedding without rehearsal $550
3. Need a minister for an off-site wedding?
With more than 30 years of experience performing weddings, the Rev. James Kvetko is an ideal choice to perform your wedding ceremony at that special location you've chosen. He's traveled up a gondola to perform a mountaintop wedding in Vermont, married couples at both dawn and dusk on Fort Lauderdale and Miami beaches, and conducted ceremonies in many hotels, halls and historic sites. His warm and personal style will please you.
Off-site minister's fee (without rehearsal) $400
Off-site minister's fee (with rehearsal) $500
4. Additional services and fees
Professional singers, unity and aisle candles, and a social hall for receptions are available for an additional charge.
Church weddings require a $250 refundable late fee as a deposit; off-site weddings a $100 refundable late fee.

Our Spanish-style sanctuary is a favorite of brides from all over the country. Jackie Gleason once used the setting in a motion picture, and the Hollywood actress Gloria DeHaven was married in the Community Church sanctuary. As you can see from the picture, we'll go off-site, too!
